Activision has unveiled its Guitar Hero 5 downloadable content plans for October, and they include five weeks of rock n’ roll, baby.

From Queens of the Stone Age to Billy Squier, from Wolfmother to the J. Geils Band and Peter Frampton, you’d better be holding on to the edge of your seat for this invasion of rock n’ roll. Baby. There’s even a Halloween-themed track pack, featuring music from GWAR (“Gor Gor”), Marilyn Manson (“Beautiful People”), and The Misfits (“Astro Zombies”). 

Track packs will cost you $5.49/440 MS Points for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, respectively. Or you can get individual tracks for $1.99/160 MS Points/200 Wii Points. Hit the jump for the full schedule… baby.
