Next Red Faction DLC bringing Walkers to multiplayer

The next batch of downloadable content for Red Faction: Guerrilla, titled the “Smasher Pack,” is arriving on October 1 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Priced at $4.99, the add-on adds eight additional maps to the offline, pass-the-controller mode Wrecking Crew.

But the best part? The “Smasher Pack” finally brings something we’ve all been dying for: mechs in multiplayer. A new mode called Behemoth lets players control the three Walkers from Guerrilla‘s single-player.

Considering how the game essentially has a seizure when you run a single Walker through a building or what have you, I can only imagine what’s going to happen when multiple machines are causing mayhem simultaneously.
