Interpol: The Trail of Dr. Chaos hitting PSN soon

Developer TikGames — the studio behind Cuboid — is bringing the Xbox LIVE Arcade classic title, Interpol: The Trail of Dr. Chaos, to PlayStation Network. it won’t be a straight port of the click-and-find hidden items game. The TikGames crew has added a few scraps of PSN-exclusive content, namely new cities and locations, mouse support, and a “new and compelling storyline.” No word if Carmen Sandiego was added.

On a heavy note, we didn’t like the XBLA release at all. The visuals were lackluster, and to top if off, the whole idea of  clicking on items didn’t satisfy the “I want to play a videogame” urge. That said, this is a relatively new version of the title. We’ll just have to see if any of the new stuff — and signs are pointing to “no” considering the lack of descriptions in the official release — moves this game beyond it’s basic Highlights roots.

Interpol: The Trail of Dr. Chaos hits PSN on September 17th in North America.
