L.A. Noire is still being developed

L.A. Noire is still happening. In the recent Take-Two Interactive financial conference call, the publisher confirmed the game’s existence, but didn’t reveal a release window or provide an update to its progress. Hell, they didn’t even specify if Team Bondi was working on the title, instead opting to call it a Rockstar Games game.

On the other hand, Take-Two did say that they would dish out more information when they were ready. L.A. Noire isn’t slated as a 2010 release, so as Kotaku points out, that information may not come any time soon. But at least it’s not vaporware. We were worried about that.

Last month new artwork was found for the title, and in April, we caught that Team Bondi — the supposed studio behind it — was hiring. We’ll take those two little nuggest of awesome and file them away in the “healthy indications” drawer now.
