You can begin the Memory Mania event by picking up one of the special items hidden around the valley. This includes the Birthday Cake, Hockey Gear, Riley’s Phone, and Hockey Trophy. There’s no official quest to get this event going, as you instead work through all event duties however you see fit.

How to get memories during the Memory Mania event in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Memory Mania event in Disney Dreamlight Valley has you searching around the village for memories in the form of items. While you won’t find a specific quest for it, you’ll start the event as soon as you pick up your first memory from one of the items you collect around the village. Below are the four memory types you’ll find, their matching items, and their locations:

Each item gives you one colored memory. Once you collect around ten of each memory and complete their pages in your Collection log, you’ll unlock their respective companions. Memory Shards aren’t guaranteed to always drop a memory piece, though, so it might take many more tries than just 10 to complete the full picture.
