We host a Brutal Legend Twitter party, you win a PS3 Slim!

A few weeks ago, Destructoid co-hosted a Twitter party for King of Fighters XII, using everybody’s favorite self-obsession network to hand out a bunch of cool prizes to the Destructoid community. The power of the Destructoid fanbase was out in full force, and within the hour, the #KOF12 tag became a trending topic.

The influence of the Destructoid community has been noted, and that’s why we’re happy to say that we’re returning to Twitter this Friday to host yet another party. This time it’s for Double Fine’s eagerly anticipated Brütal Legend! This friday, from 3pm to 5pm Central, the @Dtoid Twitter account, along with myself (@jim_sterling) and Rocket XL’s @Dinomas. Make sure you’re following us to keep the conversation going.

The prizes are absolutely splendid. There are five extremely limited Eddie Riggs statues to give away, along with twenty-five prize packs that include stickers, patches and zipper pulls. I have also just learned that one lucky winner will receive a PS3 Slim. Yep, you read that right. A f*cking PS3 Slim.

In order to win, keep chatting on Twitter using the #brutallegend tag. Rocket will be handing out prizes at random intervals, as well as asking questions for chances to win.

So, this Friday at 3pm Central. There will be a reminder post going up on the day, and let’s see if we can make yet another trending topic and prove to the world that Destructoid is a trendsetter.

P.S: Using a Twitter tracking service like TweetGrid with the #brutallegend tag will help you follow the party better. Oh, and don’t forget to follow @brutallend.
