Tell your kids: LotR: Aragorn’s Quest has sort of been dated

I’m both mad and happy that The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest is aged at a demographic of which I don’t belong. I’m upset because for once, we are getting a videogame that has a blue sky, but I am also happy because it doesn’t look terribly impressive, even for a game aimed at younger audiences.

Then again, I have a younger sister who recently purchased the Wii game Hotel for Dogs. Clearly, most kids do not care about quality — but hey, we were the same way back in the day. I remember renting Izzy’s Quest for the Olympic Rings, for crying out loud! Anyway, Aragorn’s Quest, or as I like to call it, LotR: Babyz, has been upgraded to a spring 2010 release date.

The last Lord of the Rings game I played was The Two Towers on GameCube; I’d like to keep it that way.
