Characters from BioShock 2’s multiplayer component were sort of revealed over this weekend. A keen-eyed 2K Games message board member snapped three images of a GameStop in-store advertisement that unveils two bits of character-oriented bonus content. The first is “Blanche the Actress,” the other is “Zigo the Fisherman.”
According to one forum member, and as pointed out by 6iw, these two characters resemble characters in the BioShock 2 Multiplayer Gamerpics #2 pack released on Xbox LIVE in July.
Before you start dreaming about participating in Rapture’s civil war with a fisherman, know that both these characters have been given GameStop exclusive pre-order bonus status.
We participated in a demonstration about BioShock 2’s multiplayer component at E3 2009. While impressive — the idea of a narrative-driven multiplayer component is interesting — we were still left with questions. The biggest, of course, was how hard it would be to camp the Big Daddy suit respawn.
