Well, the first footage of Final Fantasy XIV is here from gamescom, and I have to admit, it looks really lovely. The video after the break is the alpha version of the game, so before you watch it prepare yourself to see a few rough spots, but overall it looks wonderful. And yes, much prettier than Final Fantasy XI. Happy now?
We can’t tell too much about the details, as this footage is in German, so all we can really do is watch and think about what we already know — no experience points, focus on weapons and more.
