Dragon Age: Origins is one of the few games at Gen Con 2009. Like Dante’s Inferno, this booth has some serious style. Four brilliant white sheets with crimson splashes (some resembling a dragon) surround the eight kiosks with playable builds of the game. A white platform sits at the entrance to the booth. A decapitated dragon head sits on the far left. On its side is a cardboard cutout of a headless Gray Warden. Fans and onlookers can climb onto the platform and get behind the cutout for a wonderful picture opportunity.
It’s funny how the marketing for Dragon Age has changed. The game was at Gen Con last year. Its booth had a medieval pub theme — bricks and an old-fashioned door were the only attraction. This year we have blood and dead dragon heads.
If you’re looking to learn more about the game, don’t worry; you will very soon.
