Muramasa: The Demon Blade gets a fancy website

Recommended Videos

Ignition Entertainment has launched an official website for the stunningly gorgeous upcoming game Muramasa: The Demon Blade, which features info on the story, characters, all the current gameplay trailers and some new desktop wallpapers and icons for your personal use. They are also running a fan art contest which will net the grand prize winner $1000 and five runners-up copies of the game. It’s been a while for me, but I’m tempted to enter myself, or at least nominate one of Dtoid’s many talented artists to enter.

The site also has a “map” section, but it merely shows a bunch of “coming soon” flags. I wonder what that’s about? The game finally launches on September 1st, so we can finally stop watching these countless gameplay videos and actually play the damned thing. It’s racked up a lot of rewards already, including Play’s Best Wii Game and a few Best in Show E3 awards. Gonna buy this one or pass it up?
