In bad news originally spotted by Shacknews, id Software’s and Raven Software’s Wolfenstein has been sort of delayed. The good news is that it’s only by a few weeks; the game is now officially set to ship the week of August 17.

The title was originally set to ship for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC…uh… we don’t quite remember. But needless to say, it was slightly earlier than August 17. Also, Activision will have you know that unlike the Singularity delay, this has nothing to do Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

“In order to facilitate a simultaneous global release window for id Software’s Wolfenstein, Activision has realigned the game’s release date for the week beginning August 17th,” the publisher said in a statement today.

See, nothing to do with Modern Warfare 2 and everything to do with how big the Earth is. Stupid Earth.

On a lighter note, hit the jump to see a video of a pug in a toilet.
