Get physical with Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll

Recommended Videos

Thanks to a certain trademark and Internet speculation, today’s news that Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll is in fact a real thing doesn’t exactly come as a surprise. But, Sega was nice enough to pump out a trailer (albeit a CG one) for us, so it’s not a total loss for those of you who actively keep up on Monkey Ball news.

As you may have inferred from the header image, Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll does use the Wii Balance Board, which means plenty of physical activity. I was going to write this post in a grumpy tone based on how many Monkey Ball games have been made, but the trailer was simply too adorable for me to go through with it.

Very few details for Step & Roll are available, so I’m going to speculate that hey, perhaps we could see a Balance Board bundle with this game? Who knows! If I worked for Sega, you can bet I would be pitching a collector’s edition complete with a life-sized Monkey Ball.
