Xbox Live Arcade’s South Park game has been ridiculously mute ever since it was announced at E3 in 2008. The game was coming to Comic-Con and we thought we’d have to wait until the show to find out what’s in store, but now we know a name and a release date. Lucky us!
South Park Let’s Go Tower Defence Play is the moniker, and the release date is October 7. As you may have guessed from the title, it’s a tower defense game that is allegedly releasing to coincide with a fresh series of the satirical cartoon show. The game itself will debut at Comic-Con as part of a panel called, “Save South Park One Snowball At A Time.”
I’m not that big a fan of tower defense games, but the lure of South Park may be enough to tempt me. The name along deserves at least a token glance.
