World at War map packs downloaded four million times

It’s nice to know that, during these dark economic times, Activision is still rolling around in cash. To reiterate just how rich it is, the evil publisher has today revealed that map packs for Call of Duty: World at War have reached four million downloads.

Considering there are only two map packs so far, that’s pretty good going. As we learned yesterday, a third is due out next month. This is all before Activision dominates the industry yet again with Modern Warfare 2 later this year.

Activision may be evil in its purest form, but it owns all of our collective arses right now.
