Guards bring PSP into nuclear warhead recycling facility

Recommended Videos

Brilliant. Three Tennessee security guards have recently been busted for bringing game devices, including a PSP, into a nuclear warhead recycling facility. Due to the obviously sensitive nature of the work, electronic devices capable of transmitting information and images are disallowed. So, the perfect place to bring a PSP, right?

The three guards have been suspended for “bringing the electronic game devices into the Y-12 protected area.” Previous incidents involving electronic devices and classified areas have led to firings, and while Wackenhut Services Inc. won’t speculate on the fate of these poor gamers, it’s expected that three people will be adding to the unemployment statistics very soon.

Fun fact: This happened at Oak Ridge, where they developed the bombs that dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. How ironic that a Japanese device has led to the downfall of three workers. Revenge is a dish best served cold.
