Mass Effect might be more than a trilogy

There’s a chance we could see more than three Mass Effect titles. Speaking with 360Zine about new IP, BioWare vice president Dr. Greg Zeschuk said BioWare would continue bringing out the new s–t, but would also continue to “take advantage” of BioWare’s old s–t, or apparently, Mass Effect. “We’ve said Mass Effect is supposed to be a trilogy,” Zeschuk said, “so you’re going to see at least a third Mass Effect, and even more if everything goes well.”

One possible caveat here: we’re pretty sure Zeschuk wasn’t referring to App Store titles or other gonzo downloadables. We imagine he would mention the spin-off Mass Effect: Galaxies as an example if he didn’t mean full retail stuff.

We think after this whole Reaper thing wraps up in Mass Effect 3, the writers of Mass Effect should start telling origin stories. Start with baby Wrex, please. We want to follow Wrex in his awkward tadpole and high school years and see what made him the baddest toad (or whatever) in the galaxy.
