While it can be fun to play Gigantic characters that dive in and go to town on their enemies, playing ranged characters who whittle down their team from afar can be just as fun. Griselma is one such character, who conjures a magic hand to take down her foes. Here’s the best build for Griselma in Gigantic.
The best talent build for Griselma in Gigantic
Griselma’s an interesting case in that her Portal Beast, the aforementioned magic hand, is her main source of damage on foes. As such, we want to take talents that build up that Portal Beast to ensure it stays up as long as possible while providing some great value.
Primary Attack: Reach Out
Starting with Reach Out, we’ll want to take the talents Touch of the Master and Shielding Touch. These two talents are massive as they provide some strong sustain for both Griselma and her Portal Beast whenever you simply attack a foe. That pressure, if the enemy doesn’t focus on the right target, can deal some serious damage over time.
Ability 1: Summon
For Summon, we’re looking to take both Bestial Aura and Bestial Attunement. Since Griselma is designed to support her allies in battle, taking the stealth from Ambush Hands is a bit too situational. Combined with the extra damage and armor to you and your allies from Bestial Attunement, you’ll make for a very strong source of damage and sustain for those around you.
Ability 2: Rift Zone
Next up with Rift Zone, we’re going to take the Shattered Rift and Rift Burst talents. Shattered Rift will provide a bit more support for your team through debuffs provided you place your Rift Zone correctly, while Rift Burst will add to the damage from Rift Zone and possibly set up a quick kill for a friendly Tyto or Tripp.
Ability 3: Displacement
Moving over to Displacement, we’ll be taking the Exit Strategy and Escape Hatch talents. While the other talents so far have been a nice source of damage, Exit Strategy will provide a nice way of disengaging to let your allies peel your enemies for you while buffing armor in case your enemies decide to give chase. If you feel like you can go aggressive, Portal Collapse is another solid option.
Ultimate Ability: The Abyss
Swapping to the ultimate ability, The Abyss, we’re going to take both Fringe Benefits and Life Line as our talents. Fringe Benefits provides an extra bit of effective HP as you deal with some of the enemy backline trying to focus you down. Life Line further heightens this with better healing and health regen, helping you help your team that little bit more.
Clash Talent
Finally we come to the Clash Talent, where we’ll be taking the Zoned Out talent. Increasing that area size will be huge to hit more targets that’ll likely be grouped up as they’re focusing on your frontline. The added damage on creation also makes sure any enemy with fast movement speed can’t get away unscathed. If you feel you need more self-sustain, you can swap this out for Phase Variance.
