The real reason we can’t have nice things

I thought we had left all these plastic add-ons for Wii Sports in the past. Consumers had smartened up and we weren’t supposed to see them as much anymore. But it seems the opposite is true; consumers are just getting dumber. At least if CTA Digital’s newest accessory, the Wii Bowling Ball, sells well it will mean that. I mean you had to challenge yourself a bit to break your television with a Wii Remote, but picking up this blue ball of glass destroying power is simply asking to put a large crack in whatever you swing it at.

The way it works is simple, and yet surprisingly deadly. You place the Wii Remote inside the ball and then place your fingers inside the ball’s three holes, just like a real bowling ball. Then you bowl with it. Then you put a hole in your wall. Then you break your window. Then you accidentally bowl it into your Wii, putting an end to your one man wrecking ball action and possibly saving the world from the inevitable nuclear annihilation that would have somehow occurred.

Oh, but wait there’s a wristrap! The world is saved, but just in case you do break your television or any body parts CTA Digital has two warnings on their site that clearly state they will not be held liable for anything that breaks thanks to their Wii Ball of Imminent Doom Bowling Ball.
