E3 09: Nintendo announces a new Super Mario Bros for the Wii

After Microsoft’s incredible press conference yesterday, one could only imagine what the other press conferences had in store. Nintendo must have been in the mood to kick off strong, because within ten minutes of the conference’s kickoff they were already showing off a new Mario game on the Wii!

The game features 4 player co-op and will be playable on the E3 show floor this year.We don’t have a lot more details right now, but as soon as the conference wraps we ought to have screens and more to show you. And of course, we promise to go hands on with the game as soon as Nintendo lets us today. Are you excited?
