Capcom teases Resident Evil PSP, we listen

When Resident Evil was announced for PSP during the Sony press conference at this year’s E3, I immediately thought to myself, “huh, must be another remake.” I don’t know if I’m just trained to think that way or what, but since nothing was revealed about the game, there’s not much you can do but speculate away.

The beautiful people over at Capcom-Unity have provided us with a few pieces of info on the project, like how it won’t be a remake. In fact, Resident Evil PSP is being “created specifically” for the system, “with the PSP Go in mind.” That said, no, it won’t be available for download when the sleek new Go hits retail, unfortunately.

The last detail we are told is about how the title is “totally different for a Resident Evil game.” Way to hook us in, Capcom. Way to hook us in.
