Street Fighter IV PC shipping with a FightPad

The PC version of Street Fighter IV will be hitting retail shelves in two different boxes this June 7. The first box ($40) contains exactly what you expect when you run to the store to pick up a game. In other words, it contains a game and a manual. The second box ($60) is a bit more interesting. It comes with a game, a manual, and a Mad Catz FightPad.

Not exactly a FightStick, but beggars can’t be choosers.

Earlier this year Christian Svensson, Capcom’s vice president of marketing and strategic planning, teased that SF IV PC would ship with a controller and would hit this summer. Nice predictions, eh?

By the way, the $40 box makes sense if you’ve gotten your hands on a FightStick –they work on PC just fine. No need to fret and lurk GameStop’s Web site.

How many of you are waiting for the PC version of Street Fighter IV? And perhaps more importantly, how many of you are ready to get crushed by my Zangief? Because that’s totally going to happen. All day, baby. All day.
