First look at Red Steel 2 in action was hot (Update)

It’s a bit early to get to excited about Red Steel 2, since Ubisoft’s first outting for the Wii left, shall we say, a bit to be desired.

But based on this trailer right here (via MSN Brazil), how can you not get excited? The promise of the Wii MotionPlus support delivering on the promises of the first game, plus a unique visual style that not only looks good for a Wii game, but any game? Hell, while I probably won’t as good as the sweaty actor getting down in his dark living room, sign me up! (Nice Unforgiven movie poster, guy!)

Hit the jump to get your first look at Red Steel 2. And no, I have no idea why the intro to the trailer mentions “Destination Playstation”; as far as we know, Red Steel 2 is being designed exclusively for the Wii. Hell, even the trailer says so!

[Update: Oops! Looks like someone at MSN Brazil did something they should have not. Because of this, Ubisoft are all like “OMG! WTF! OMG!” Moments after we got off the phone with the publisher, the video was pulled from both MSN Brazil and the mirrors on YouTube. Ubisoft moves fast!

If you saw this, great — it looked really God damned cool! If you did not, you’ll just have to wait until E3, when we’re sure it’ll still look cool.]
