A decade of features

The God Simulator has been in development for ten years now, including a successful Kickstarter campaign back in 2014 that got almost $400k in backing. With the full release of The Universim, players will be able to explore an unlimited amount of space and colonize as many planets as they wish, each with their own conditions and challenges. Some planets will be abundantly resource-rich providing a great opportunity to expand and prosper with your civilization. Over 600 new voice-over lines have been added to enhance the now-completed storyline.

The Universim has become quite popular among the simulation community, with over half a million Steam wishlists and over 6,000 reviews giving it a Very Positive rating.

I played The Universim years ago and loved it, and with all the content they’ve added in recent years, this is the perfect time for me to give it another go. If you’re looking for a multi-planet faring God Simulator, you should definitely check it out.

The Universim fully releases on PC via Steam on January 22, 2024.
