Fallout 3 ‘Broken Steel’ DLC on PC doesn’t work

Recommended Videos

Anyone else having déjà vu? Certainly everyone here remembers how the launch of “The Pitt” went down only a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, it’s looking like more of the same, as “Broken Steel,” arguably the most compelling of the Fallout 3 add-ons, has been experiencing some major issues.

This time around, however, it appears as if only PC users are being affected. There are many reports of players who can’t even install the content, because an error message never fails to pops up. On the Fallout 3 forums, a developer from Bethesda has left the comment, “We are looking into it.”

This whole situation really is tragic. I’m not sure who’s to blame — Bethesda or Games for Windows LIVE — but I can only hope that a working file gets uploaded to the servers, and fast.
