GDC 09: First look at Dexter iPhone game

Recommended Videos

Confession time — I don’t own an iPhone or a bonesaw.

Neither of those things kept Marc Ecko Entertainment from sitting down with me to show off the upcoming Dexter title for Apple’s portable do-it-all. Developed by Icarus Studios and based off of the popular Showtime series about a sociopathic killer that shares the show’s name, Dexter is the only game I know of that features bonesaw and blood-splatter analysis mini-games. You know, for the kids.

Marc Fernandez, Vice President of Creative for Marc Ecko Entertainment, sat down to show us an unfinished version of Dexter, which ships to the App Store this summer. Despite place holder graphical and other in-game elements, the game is shaping up nicely, and possibly one of the best looking iPhone games to date. Check it out after the jump.
