It looks like Capcom’s Resident Evil surprise for Wii fans is out of the bag.

The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed the upcoming Wii title Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. The game is being handled by Umbrella Chronicles developer Cavia, and looks to be a sequel to 2007’s on-rails shooter. The game will take place in Resident Evil 2’s Racoon City setting, and and will have players controlling  Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy.

With the publisher set to officially make some sort of announcement in North America on Thursday evening, we should know more soon.
