Okay, urine stain confirmed. Today, Atari announced the release date for Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Dark Athena. The game is hitting the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on April 7 in North America. Europeans will get their hands on the title April 24 — mere weeks after the game is released, as opposed to months or … never.
In addition to giving release date details, Atari announced that a demo for the game will be made available on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network this March. No firm date on the demo, but Atari did put up an official Assault on Dark Athena Web site that will probably proclaim its existence the second it becomes downloadable. (We probably will, too.)
Assault on Dark Athena will incorporate all of Starbreeze Studios’ previous Riddick title, Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and offer a few multiplayer options to suit the new gamer’s fancy.
