Yes, it’s true: Ubisoft, Midway holding hands to publish Wheelman

I heard rumblings of this awhile back (Kotaku even recently posted it as a related rumor), but it’s true — Midway and Ubisoft have partnered to publish the Wheelman this March.

The press releasing is calling it a “strategic partnership” which is industry code for “Midway didn’t really have the cash to do it themselves.” Ubisoft’s Tony Key is thrilled about the parternership, saying that “gamers will love” the “intense, fast-paced action” of Wheelman. We also love Vin Diesel’s sexy and sweaty, bald head.

Word has it a demo for Wheelman will hit before the game’s release, so soon we’ll get a chance to see if Ubisoft made the right choice. If you can’t wait, check out our preview of the game from last year.
