That sound is us squealing: Rhythm Heaven dated for April 5

So Nintendo is releasing its new Nintendo DS iteration, the DSi, on April 5. Innovative camera system, SD Card support, blah, blah, blah.

But the really, really, really big news? That’s the day that Rhythm Heaven finally comes to North America. Don’t get why we’re excited? Go read our review of the import version of the game, Rhythm Tengoku Gold. That’s the review where Dale wrote “We will not be surprised if this is the game everyone is talking about when it launches in the US later this year.” It’s 2009, people!

For those who have a soft spot for quirky, original titles, the wait will be worth it. We’re already camped out.
