Square-Enix spreads its wings: will publish 007 for the Japanese market

Recommended Videos

It was only a few weeks ago that we found out that Square-Enix would be distributing Ubisoft titles for Japan, and now it seems that they are continuing to make good on their promise to introduce more American titles to Japanese audiences by striking up a deal with Activision to publish the most recent 007 title, Quantum of Solace, in Japan.

This is a great thing to help expose Japanese audiences to a wider range of games, but I can’t help but to selfishly wish there was a reverse version of this strategy where Square worked hard to distribute all the incredible Japanese-only games I drool over in the US.
