Midway’s Wheelman hits stores March 20, demo imminent

Midway has announced that its third-person action title Wheelman for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC will be available on March 20.

For those not sold on the Vin Diesel action-film packed into a game concept, there’s always plans for a pre-launch demo that will available on the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE. A date for the demo hasn’t been set in stone, but Midway has over a month to figure it out — that’s what pre-launch means!

I played the game back in April of last year, and got a “so so” vibe. But a lot can happen in a year. Just a few months before Bungie released Halo, some press were calling for a disaster after playing an early build. Look how that turned out. 

Yes, I just said Wheelman is going to be as good as Halo. Discuss.
