Destineer’s snowboarding title Stoked gets February 24 release date

Since Ben came back with his hands on impressions of Destineer’s upcoming Xbox 360-exclusive snowboarding title, Stoked, I’ve had my eye on the game. The game’s deep, true-to-life boarding mechanics look to be — much like EA’s skate — challenging, but rewarding.

I’ll find out sooner rather than later. The game’s finally been given a release date of February 24. And best of all? It carries at MSRP of $39.99. That’s at least one hundred dollars cheaper than an average getaway at to Vail, Colarado … and it’s safer. Plus, you can’t increase your Gamerscore by leaving the house.

Destineer have passed along a slew of new screens detailing Stoked‘s photo mode, which allows you to snap images of your snowboarder in action. The best shots make it on the digital in-game covers of top snowboarding mags like Huck and Method

Totally tubular! That’s what the kids are saying, right? Right …?
