Nerdy white dudes talk about making 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand

When I sent Chad Concelmo to interview Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo of G-Unit, I thought it was going to be the most hilarious match-up ever. Chad did a great job as usual, and the reality of him together in a room with the hip-hop superstars was as great as it was in my head.

Now, seeing this documentary about 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, I realize that G Unit were more than prepared for speaking with Chad, a relatively unassuming, hyper-excited videogame nerd wearing a sports coat. Hell, they worked on the game with guys like that.

So here they are, the folks from Swordfish Studios talking about Blood on the Sand — the story, working with 50 Cent. At one point in the video, one of them says “When we first found out this was going to be a 50 Cent game,” as if at some point they thought they might be working on Robocop vs. G.I. Joe

But Robocop vs. G.I. Joe is not an actual video game. 50 Cent Blood on the Sand is, and it’s coming to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 24.
