Another confirmation for DJ Hero not from Activision

Recommended Videos

According to Dutch DJ Tiesto, DJ Hero is a real product. In a recent newsletter (that we haven’t seen) Tiesto acknowledged the game’s existence and a possible release date of summer 2009. He also confirmed that he’s mixing tracks for an exclusive version of the game, which was the intended purpose of the newsletter.

CVG, who found out about the newsletter, aren’t sure of its validity either. I’m of the mind that Activision may want to seek out Oakenfold instead of Tiesto, but I’m notorious for my terrible taste in music.

This marks the third confirmation that we’ve gotten about the game, although none of it has actually come from Activision. The first came from an unnamed developer, the second from a Guitar Hero developer. Next week the artist formerly known as Prince will confirm the title. Because he’s Prince, and he can do these things.
