Real Time Worlds gives us the latest on APB

Real Time Worlds recently sent out its October newsletter for upcoming MMO APB, and as you’d expect, there are a few goodies packed inside.

Currently, the team is tweaking the core gameplay based on feedback from group play tests. One fan suggested that there be explosive and non-lethal inventory items in APB, and RTW thought that was a good enough idea to roll with. Groovy.

The suggestion of bullet-time was rejected due to the game’s nature, however mini-games and leisure activities are still under consideration. There’s a chance we may see those elements as downloadable content down the road.

Lastly, we’re told that preparations are being made for the public beta, so be on the lookout for that. I’m excited for APB and all, but the sooner the game gets finished, the sooner we’ll be to playing Crackdown 2.
