splatoon 3 splatfest

Splatoon 3’s first splatfest is all about desert island activities

What is a marooned Inkling to do?

During today’s Nintendo Direct, the publisher announced the first splatfest for its brand new release Splatoon 3. As per usual, players will be asked to choose their teams and then battle it out to decide the winning answer to a fun question, with points decided by public vote and in-game action.

The first splatfest for Splatoon 3 is a question of desert island activities, and asks what you would bring to a desert island, should you ever find yourself marooned. The choices are Gear, Grub, or Fun. Honestly, that’s pretty darn bizarre. Only one of them will keep you alive… unless you Eat Fun.

Regardless, the first splatfest will take place on the weekend of September 23 and, as usual, will run from Friday through Saturday in North America. It is to be assumed that the European edition will run Saturday through, as was the case of Splatoon 2.

Splatoon 3 is available now on Nintendo Switch.
