Exoprimal introduces its roster of reptilian overlords in new trailer

It’s raining raptors

At San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, Capcom debuted a brand new trailer for its upcoming Jurassic lark, Exoprimal, which remains currently in development for PlayStation, PC, and Xbox platforms.

The new preview focuses specifically on the reptilian roster of dinosaurs and “NeoSaurs” that are running amok throughout our future cities. Like a scaly version of Earth Defense Force, we see the streets literally swarming with creatures, as our desperate but highly skilled squad of Exofighters attempt to put a halt to the dawn of a new prehistoric era. Check out the wild action for yourself below.

A lot of monstrous city mashers on display there, from the natural horrors of the Pteranodon, Ankylosaurus, and the Triceratops to a new wave of creatures including the Pyro Neosaur, Neo Ankylosaurus, and the devastating Neo T. Rex. I think my favorite part is the very absurd moment when an enormous herd of Velociraptors is literally seen spilling from the skies.

I’m not entirely sure of the specific corner of the market Exoprimal is aiming for, nor whether it will succeed in capturing long-term multiplayer interest but — as you can see in the new trailer above — it’s shaping up to be a good-looking title, with some interesting concepts and exciting action. We shall see. If you wish to be considered for closed beta access, then you can sign-up right now over on the official Exoprimal website.

Exoprimal is currently expected to launch on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox at some point in 2023.
