Fail: Nintendo’s ‘Celestial event’ = bubble machine

Recommended Videos

Do you remember when we told you about Nintendo’s “one of a kind” celestial event that was supposed to happen today? We guessed that Nintendo was going to pull off some cool stunt to promote the new Kirby game. Well, at least the Kirby part was right.

By the way they were talking the other day, I seriously thought Nintendo was going to block out the sun and take us back to the dark ages. Or at least something grand and flashy. But Binge Gamer went to one of the “sighting” locations, Kirby Park in Kingston, PA, only to find three college students running a bubble machine. That’s it. No fanfare, just lumps of bubbles laying on the ground.

Nintendo, what were you thinking?

[Thanks, Jim Walker]
