Valhalla Knights 2 goes gold, releases in October

Marvelous Entertainment and XSEED Games have announced that Valhalla Knights 2 for the PlayStation Portable has gone gold. The game will be available in retail outlets on October 1 for the suggested price of $29.99.

When Valhalla Knights 2 was initially announced, Marvelous were quick to note that the majority of the issues that resulted in the poor reception by the American audience were in the process of being rectified. In addition to the fixes, they are boasting that the game will include more features, races, character appearances, and items than its predecessor.

I really disliked the original release, but despite the promise of fixes I’m still afraid that not enough has changed. I never specifically read anything about improved field movement, storyline, or continuity fixes. One thing for certain, the game still looks sharp for a portable title.  We’ll have wait until October to see if the gameplay can match the visuals.
