Shred Nebula, Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball, and Gin Rummy on XBLA this Wednesday

Straight off the heels of the Summer of Arcade line-up comes the announcement that three new Xbox LIVE Arcade games are planned for release on Wednesday: Shred Nebula (800 Microsoft Points), Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball (800 Microsoft Points), and Gin Rummy (400 Microsoft Points).

While there are numerous other top-down shooters taking up space on XBLA, Shred Nebula is slightly different in that the focus is primarily on the multiplayer combat. If that descriptor intrigues you, then go watch the trailer — it does a better job of describing the game than I ever could.

We’ve already heard quite a bit about Blazing Lizard’s Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball, so at this point, there’s not much else to do besides actually playing the game. If by some reason you don’t know about PvND yet, it’s zombies, robots, ninjas, and pirates playing dodgeball … ’nuff said.

Lastly, there’s Gin Rummy, which is pretty self-explanatory. There are 6 game modes in all with 4-player online multiplayer and Xbox LIVE Vision support (strip Gin Rummy anyone?).

So … is anyone else going to be sticking with Castle Crashers this week?
