Valve to bring Team Fortress 2 updates to Xbox 360 sometime this year

Recommended Videos

It seems like every time we post about Team Fortress 2 here, there are always a few mandatory “where’s the 360 love?” comments. As it turns out, Valve has finally got an answer for those questions: it’s coming later this year.

Valve’s Doug Lombardi revealed that the company’s plan is to hold off on getting the current TF2 updates onto the Xbox 360 until they can give console players more bang for their buck.

Since Microsoft is making Valve charge for the DLC, 360 owners won’t be seeing the new content until more updates are released for the PC version.

No details were given on what’s going to happen with the PlayStation 3 version of Team Fortress 2, but seeing as how the system has been somewhat of an afterthought when it comes to most multiplatform games, I wouldn’t get your hopes up yet.
