Seal away your great games forever

Recommended Videos

The Destructoid staff already went off on the topic of game collecting last month. I think most of us agreed that collecting was fine as long as you actually played the games, and we came to the conclusion that keeping them in boxes like trophies was kind of douchey.

Well, this service is for those douches: the Collectible Grading Authority will take your money and look at your sealed boxed Mint NO RESERVE, MUST SEE NO SHIPPING rare items and grade them for you.

This company has launched a new division called the Video Game Authority. They will take your games, grade them, inspect them for defects, and then seal them away inside acrylic cases to protect them. That’s right: for only $20 a game, VGA will make your rare title totally useless.

What do you think about this service? Isn’t this just like burying your games forever?
