Manhunt 2 destroying British society on Halloween

A year has passed since Manhunt 2 was released in the United States, and so far nobody has been murdered as a result. The game was banned by the BBFC, meaning it could not be legally sold in the UK for fear that doing so would have an adverse effect on society.

The ban was overturned after a lengthy appeal and a promise of edits. The gutted version of Manhunt 2 will now go on sale in Britain on October 31.

That’s pretty much all I ever wanted from this whole stupid scenario. I never wanted to buy Manhunt 2, and I won’t be picking it up when it launches at the end of the month. But I wanted that to be my decision, not the decision of an anonymous rater.

Thus order is restored and free will prevails.
