Cammie promises that a new Pikmin is still coming

If, like Chad, you have been awaiting news of a new Pikmin game with bated breath, the recent Nintendo announcement in regards to GameCube re-releases on the Wii may have rankled your nerves deep down: could this be the Pikmin talk that’s been floating around lately, rather than an actual new game? The horror!

Thankfully, that is not the case, and you’ll never guess who was responsible for the reassurance: everyone’s favorite highly knowledgeable stage presence, Cammie Dunaway. She commented on the topic:

“It’s not the Pikmin that Mr. Miyamoto referred to, no,” said Nintendo of America sales VP Cammie Dunaway. “Mr. Miyamoto referred to a new Pikmin, as opposed to the classics that are being rereleased on Wii.”

Thanks, Cam (can I call you that? It’s like we’re sisters!). Glad we got that noise cleared up. Now get on with the Pikmin action, will you?
