Oh, Marvel you dirty tease! On its official blog, Marvel Interactive has posted a single piece of artwork, depicting a number of bodies, many of which wearing The Punisher’s trademark skull.
The easy conclusion to jump to is that Marvel Interactive are set to reveal a new game based in The Punisher universe. A new film, Punisher: War Zone is set to land in theaters this December, and it would be rather clever to ride the film hype up and through the film’s home video release.
Volition 2005 The Punisher game was a pretty great, over-the-top third-person romp that featured interactive kills like throwing enemies in to a pool of pirahnas. I still think about that every day. Whatever is revealed, let’s all cross our fingers that it involves pirahnas.
