The Steam Lunar New Year Sale is live with some solid deals

Starting 2022 by adding more games to play in my Steam backlog

The 2022 Steam Lunar New Year Sale is live right now, with deals across many different games. From today, Jan. 27 through Feb. 3, games across the storefront will be discounted.

Like other sales Valve has hosted on the Steam platform, there is an associated sticker to pick up and some other items in the Steam points shop. But interest is high in the game sales, of course. Many big games, new and old, are discounted to some pretty good prices.

These discounts will probably come in handy for those planning to lock in their Steam Deck order next month. The handheld PCs will start rolling out on Feb. 28, so this sale might be a good time to pick up some Steam Deck-compatible games to check out.

I took a quick look through the big offerings and pulled a few interesting finds out below, with their discounted price and Steam store page linked.
