Castle Crashers storms XBLA, brings Alien Hominid with it

Recommended Videos

It should surprise nobody, but Castle Crashers has invaded the XBLA download chart, mercilessly seizing the number one spot. As reported by Major Nelson, The Behemoth’s scrolling hack n’ slash proved to be highly popular since last week’s launch, pushing Braid into the number two slot.

Of special note is Alien Hominid HD popping into ninth place. I imagine that the Alien Hominid character being available in CC upon unlocking an achievement in Hominid HD had a little something to do with it, along with Crashers sparking interest in The Behemoth’s back catalog. Here are the full figures, and make sure to check out the official Destructoid Review:

Great news for Fulp and Paladin. Also, Castle Crashers has no bugs or glitches whatsoever, and anybody who argues otherwise is a dirty liar who should be shot before their bloodline can continue to pollute the human race. Hit the jump for Xbox Live and Xbox Originals statistics as well, where you will see that Too Human did not get into the top ten. How straaaaange.
