According to a French retailer, LittleBigPlanet is going to have its own PlayStation 3 bundle, much like the Metal Gear Solid 4 package that is still being offered by Sony. The bundle will consist of a copy of LBP, a Dualshock 3 controller, an 80 gig hard drive, and some cables. It’s being priced at 399 euros ($580 US) and delivery is scheduled November 5th, this year.
Of course, the bundle could be fake, but look at that delicious art on the cover. It looks quite professional and much up to par with what Sony would do with an expected megahit like LBP. Also, look into Sackboy’s eyes and tell him that this isn’t real. You can’t, and therefore it is.
Speaking of unreal, I have just become aware of my inability to resist anything LBP. While I’m still being a toad over being an early adopter, and will therefore miss out on this bundle (I’m assuming it’ll float stateside), I can’t help but to want it. Right now the website offering the bundle isn’t accepting preorders, but I recently e-mailed them a picture that I made asking if I could go ahead and grab the bundle early. I’m hoping it will transcend my meager French skills.
