Nick Chester is truly evil. When I woke up this morning, I found that he had cut his initials onto my hands multiple times, making any sort of writing work extremely difficult. Not only that, he left a picture of Dale, tied and beaten, with the caption, “No Podtoid-san for you!” Why do you do this, Nick? I said I’d write the column for you this week, and I’ve been doing it! What more do you want from me?
So, in part because my hands are still bleeding onto the keyboard, and E3 is nigh, not many stories were going around. Still, there were a few things. I decided to spare you the tons of boring stories that came out of Famitsu, and so here’s what we have tonight:
- Some new screens pop up from Korean PSP RPG Garnet Chronicles, a.k.a. Astonishia Story 2. [Famitsu]
- Jeff Reese, once the marketing director for Sony, has now moved to Atari to be their VP of marketing. Hopefully we’ll see some more crying baby ads now. [Gamasutra]
- Also in Atari news, SimBin is teaming up with Atari to release Race Pro, an “ultra realistic” driving game, thanks to SimBin’s own physics engine. [CVG]
- Crysis Warhead is set to be $29.99 and will include new multiplayer modes and seven new maps. [Shacknews]
That’s about it for today, everyone. I’m afraid to see what I’m going to wake up to tomorrow. Maybe Nick will be distracted with pre-E3 stuff, and forget to leave a razor blade in my apple or something.
